We are seeking a remote associate attorney with exceptional writing ability and strong appellate-level analytical skills to join our litigation team.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in legal research, motion practice, and complex briefing. The associate will focus heavily on:
- Dispositive motions (MSJ, No-Evidence MSJ)
- Daubert/Robinson challenges
- Motions to strike, compel, and sanctions
- Jury charge objections and preservation
- Appellate issue preservation
- Post-verdict motions
- Coverage and Stowers analyses
- High-exposure demand drafting
This is not a volume docket position. This is a strategic litigation writing position.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
- Demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing
- Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions
- Strong understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure; Federal Rules of Civil Procedure; Evidence rules; Preservation of error
- Experience with appellate briefing preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- High accountability and deadline discipline
Bonus:
- Prior plaintiff-side catastrophic injury experience
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, Stowers demands, insurance coverage litigation
- Federal court briefing experience
